At Little Characters Early Learning Centre, we believe that children are capable and involved learners, naturally curious about the world around them.   We believe that children learn most effectively when allowed to explore concepts and experiences that are current in their lives.  Play is the most effective way for children to learn through the motivation of their own interests. The amalgamation of child-led experiences and specific intentional teaching, form a conscious and deliberate plan that allows each child to experience the outcomes of The Early Years Learning Framework in a meaningful wayLittle Characters Early Learning Centre offers a play-based program as a basis for children to explore and make meaning of the world, and their place in it.  Staff are facilitators to the learning process, encouraging higher order thinking through modelling strategies, providing resources and facilitating reflection with children.  Parent, family and community input are a valued inclusion into our programs and are important for children to form necessary links for learning.
